Cellbeat Mini metrics privacy

Cellbeat Mini uses a small first-party metrics counter to verify that the shared game link is being used and that the game controls are working.

The database stores anonymous hourly totals for page views and taps on Play / Stop, Demo, Record, and Reset. It does not store visitor IP addresses, user-agent strings, cookies, names, email addresses, or per-person identifiers.

Metrics collection has one master source switch, METRICS_ENABLED, in metrics.js. When it is false, the public game sends no metrics requests.

The current metrics service and durable aggregate database are hosted through ChatGPT. The owner reads the dashboard with their existing ChatGPT account; visitors need no account to generate anonymous game events.
